The hostel stands on the shores of Lough Arrow near Boyle and Lough Key, an area of great natural beauty renowned for its great lakes, megalithic tombs and ancient Celtic Mythology. The hostel dates back to 1700's and has been an Inn, a Hunting Lodge and continues to welcome guests in the 21st century as a modern Hostel. It was owned and run as a small rural hotel "Rock View" by Robinson family from May 2000. Then they decided to change it over to a Hostel in early 2009 and took part in the RTE TV program "At Your Service" where the conversion was filmed. The hostel offers great value without any compromise in comfort. Catering for parties and groups of up to 30 people who can book the entire venue for that special event is available at very reasonable rates. The hostel is the perfect base from which to explore the region's rich heritage, stunning scenery and blue flag beaches, all within easy reach.
